Thank you for
making a difference!
The Amery Area Historical Society and Museum thanks the Amery community for the generous donations we received during our initial fundraising drive. We successfully purchased the building at 109 East Maple Street in Amery in December 2023 and our museum has flourished!
The museum property, with the iconic Amery water town as a backdrop, offers about 2200 square feet of space for displays, storage of archives, and a separate gathering room for meetings and educational classes.
Our current income is strictly from membership dues, the sale of our Centennial Book, various donations, and small grants, which pays for utilities, insurance, supplies, and minor repairs.
We hope to raise an additional $40,000 to pay off the last of the mortgage, and expand resources and programming. Will you consider a donation? Maybe a memorial to a loved one? Your generosity will leave us mortgage-free, allowing us to better serve you, the community, and AAHS members.
Any amount is appreciated, and we recognize large donors on our legacy wall. Bronze: $500-$999, Silver: $1000-$4999, Gold: $5000-$9999, and Platinum: $10,000 and above.
The Amery Area Historical Society & Museum is a 501(c)3 entity for charitable purposes and offers a tax advantaged opportunity for those with donor advised funds or available IRA distributions. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at ameryhistory@gmail.com
